Arches National Park, UT

We visited Arches National Park before we left Utah. Although we have visited Zion and Bryce in years past, this was the first time for the park, and BOY! Were we blown away!!

The enormous rock structures are pretty much beyond description.

My comment to Don was, "God must have really had fun making this place!"

I took a ton of pictures and had a tough time narrowing it down to the ones I wanted to post on the blog today but this is a sampling of the ones I took.

This is an amazing place and I just couldn't leave any of these out.

There is no way to describe just how huge these rock formations are.

They are the size of multi-story buildings.

Some are grouped close together and others scattered around open landscape.

This amazing balanced rock does not even sit squarely on top of the base, but there it is.

These open arches are what the park was named after. There are more in more inaccessible locations.

A thunderstorm began moving in so some of these pictures show clouds and haze coming across the valley.

We were amazed by all we saw here in Arches National Park, Utah.
